On advice from the Government, our Pilates studio is closed until further notice. We are running online classes using Zoom. There is an introduction to Zoom below, followed by the online class timetable & booking.

PREPARING TO USE ZOOM FOR ONLINE PILATES CLASSES

We will be using the online platform Zoom, which is free to use. You can run Zoom via your internet browser or you can download the Zoom app onto an Apple or Android device via your app store. You can sign up and register as a free user. Please note it will say that free user sessions are limited to 40 mins. Disregard this because we will be hosting the classes and we have an upgraded version that doesn’t have the same time restrictions.

Whatever device you are using it must have video, audio and a microphone. This shouldn’t be an issue with Laptops, Tablets and Mobile Phones. However, if you are using a desktop PC you will need a webcam, speakers and a microphone. Of course, you will also need a good internet connection.

If you are using Zoom via your internet browser, the first time you enter a meeting you will be asked to download and install a Zoom Client app. This only happens once and doesn’t take long.

JOINING ONLINE PILATES CLASSES

We will be scheduling classes in advance and asking you to register for the class(es) you would like to attend. You will then be emailed an invitation to join your chosen class(es). The body of the email will look like this example:

You don’t need to do anything with the email until just before the class is due to start. Each class will have a 15-minute ‘waiting room’ period before the start, when you can join.

To join the class either click on the link in the email, which will then start zoom in your internet browser. Or, if you have opened the Zoom app on a tablet / mobile phone, tap 'Join Meeting' and then type in the Meeting ID and password from the email.

You will then get a message to say the host knows you are there and you will enter the meeting once Keeley lets you in. Please be patient since Keeley might not be there until about 5 minutes before the class start time.

Once you enter the meeting you need to confirm that it is OK for Zoom to access your audio. For internet browser users there will be a pop-up that you click. For tablet / mobile phone users there is a headphone icon at the bottom / left of the screen. Tap this and make sure the setting is to allow audio.

Everyone enters the meeting with their microphone activated (unmuted), i.e. you / we can all hear everything. Before the class starts, Keeley will mute all users’ microphones so the only person you will hear during the class is Keeley.

There are two ways you can display Zoom on your screen: Speaker View, which displays the current speaker as the most prominent person; or Gallery View, which displays all of the class attendees. We recommend you use Speaker View so that you are focussed on Keeley at all times. Keeley will be using Gallery View so that she can see everyone in the class. Keeley’s display will also be projected onto a large TV so she can see you clearly from a couple of metres away (virtual social distancing).

All microphones will be unmuted at the end of the class. There can be a couple of minutes of chit-chat, but Keeley will end the meeting by clicking a button and the video / audio will end.
 
ONLINE CLASS TIMETABLE

Many clients have already said they are happy sticking with their current class time. Quite a few are flexible as well. To start with we will have more-or-less the same class times and will adjust week-by-week if necessary.

Mondays: 6:15pm, 7:30pm
Tuesdays: 9:15am, 10:30am, 6:15pm, 7:30pm
Wednesdays: 6:15pm, 7:30pm
Thursdays: 6:15pm, 7:30pm
Fridays: 9:15am, 10:30am, 11:45am

The class limit is 10 people, so feel free to join a different class or do more than one a week.

BOOKING

Click on the link below to book a class. The link will take you to a different page which opens in a new window. Simply enter your name, email address and select the class you would like. Once you have submitted the information you can return to book another class.

PAYMENT

For current clients no payment is necessary during week ending 27th March and 3rd April.

Thereafter, for current clients, we will start an optional payment scheme, subject to a maximum of £6.00 per class. The payment options will be to pay between £0.00 and £6:00 per class.

Some of you might be experiencing financial hardship through this current crisis and we won't quibble if you ask for free or low-priced classes. Nor will we prioritise those paying more.

ONE-TO-ONE & SMALL GROUP TIMETABLE
Each session is booked for 4 weeks at a time. The amount you pay is based on the number in the Group and whether you pay individually or in total.

NEW CLIENT BOOKING
Once your reservation has been confirmed, please complete the online booking and health questionnaire.
EXISTING CLIENT RE-BOOKING
We already have your details. You can let us know by paying for your session, emailing us or letting us know at the studio.

For convenience you can use the Pay Now buttons below. This will take you to a 3-D secure payment gateway. If you complete the (optional) email address during the payment dialogue you will automatically be sent a receipt.
