PILATES CLASSES & LESSONS

SEE WHAT YOUR BODY CAN DO

Pilates Classes for beginners to advanced, Mat and Reformer based. Specific Pilates sessions for small groups and one-to-one. Remedial Pilates for those with long term debilitating problems or injury related issues. Pilates for age-related physical problems, for pre & post natal women, for horse riders, golfers, etc. Buff Bones Classes safe for those with Osteoporosis and those seeking to strengthen Bones & improve Balance.
MAT CLASSES
A beginners mat course is recommended for anyone new to Pilates. Blocks are usually six weeks in length but can vary due to holidays. We limit classes to ten people to ensure maximum personal tuition. Classes incorporate small equipment such as magic circles, pilates arcs, togu balls and foam rollers.
REFORMER CLASSES
Mat-work experience is useful but not a pre-requisite. Reformer classes add resistance to the repertoire and give a more challenging workout. Classes are limited to eight people to ensure maximum personal tuition and safety.

ONE-TO-ONE SESSIONS
For those who have been referred by a health practitioner, have a specific need / injury they need to address or those wanting a quick-start to regular sessions. A full postural analysis will be carried out and any issues  discussed. 1-2-1 is also suitable for those who simply prefer personal tuition.
SMALL GROUP SESSIONS
Small Group sessions are for between two and four people, each benefiting from their own programme, using a mix of mat-work and equipment. Small Group sessions are an ideal way for friends and family to share  the cost of more personalised tuition that is not possible in a class situation
 
CLASS TIMETABLE & BOOKING

The next block of classes starts on Monday 1st July 2019. Monday and Tuesday classes will be a 5-week block. Wednesday through Saturday classes will be a 4-week block.

We are taking a summer break. The studio will be closed from Wednesday 31st July and will re-open on Monday 19th August. We will run a limited number of classes during the last two weeks of August with flexible booking. Our normal 6-week blocks will start again in early September.

We also have a few odd morning / evening spaces for non clients with Pilates experience who would like to try us out. Contact us to enquire.

MAT OR REFORMER CLASSES?

All classes except Beginner classes are currently alternating Mat or Reformer week-by-week. Some classes will be Mat / Reformer Combo classes.

All classes last 1 hour.

WHAT TO WEAR / BRING WITH YOU

We provide mats and everything else you might need. Just bring an open mind and wear comfortable clothing.

No outdoor footwear is allowed in the studio, or bare feet. For Mat Classes you can wear any kind of socks. For Reformer Classes we recommend some kind of studio socks (e.g. Pilates or Yoga) or grip socks.
 
ONE-TO-ONE & SMALL GROUP TIMETABLE
Each session is booked for 4 weeks at a time. The amount you pay is based on the number in the Group and whether you pay individually or in total.
